To trade over the
Internet it is necessary to have both a payment gateway
and a merchant account designed to accept payments from
online transactions. WorldPay provide a solution that
encompasses both of these elements into one package, obviating
the need to arrange for a separate merchant account for
your online business. This saves both cost and time in
setting up, and indeed many banks charge more for a merchant
account alone than the cost of WorldPays combined solution.
The proceeds from your online transactions are then paid
into your normal business bank account.
WorldDirect is the product you need if you wish to take
credit card orders online but don't already have a merchant
account for online credit card processing. WorldPay's
FuturePay product is a no cost option to take regular
payments from credit cards and can be added to your WorldDirect
account at any time in the future.
