WorldPay has implemented an online version of repeat billing called FuturePay.

FuturePay provides an internet based solution where payments are taken periodically by credit or debit card. This is ideal for subscriptions to web sites, online magazines, hosting services... in fact any application where payments are taken by installments.

Solution one allows a fixed payment, which is taken at scheduled intervals
Solution two allows variable payments, usually billed after the event, when the total value to be charged to a shopper is known
WorldPay can provide you with either of these facilities and manage the scheduled payment process.
