Where we refer to yourdomain.co.uk, substitute
your Domain Name, including using .com, .net etc. depending
on your domain name.
When your domain is set-up you will receive a "Catch
All" e-mail address as standard. This address will receive
all e-mails sent to anything@yourdomain.co.uk.
When your account is first set-up
your Catch All e-mail address is set to root@yourdomain.co.uk.
In addition, you can have an unlimited
number of additional POP3 e-mail accounts for your domain.
You could for example have 2 additional POP3 e-mail accounts,
John@yourdomain.co.uk and Mary@yourdomain.co.uk. John and
Mary would set-up their own Outlook e-mail accounts for these
e-mail addresses as in these
instructions.
All e-mail's then sent to John@yourdomain.co.uk would be picked
up by john only, all e-mail's sent to Mary@yourdomain.co.uk
would be picked up by Mary only. All other e-mails will be
picked up by your Catch All e-mail address.
If you have a Control Panel with your hosting then you have
the ability to add/remove POP3 e-mail addresses yourself.
When you create a new e-mail address for someone they will
then need to add that address to their e-mail client as per
the instructions HERE.
If you do not have a control panel but require additional
POP3 e-mail addresses then please request them by e-mailing
us at AdditionalPOP3Addresses
or by filling in our contact
form.
