E-mail Settings

Use the following settings when setting up your e-mails to send and receive e-mails from your domain.

POP3 (Incoming) Hostname mail.yourdomain.co.uk (Change the .co.uk to .com, .net etc. if your domain is not a .co.uk)
SMTP (Outgoing) Hostname Provided by your dialup ISP.
This will be the same as other e-mails you have set-up
For example. If you dial up using BT it will be mail.btinternet.com
Username The full e-mail address. (For the catchall e-mail we initially set this up as root@yourdomain.co.uk)
Password As given to you.
If you have a control panel for your domain then you can change your own passwords.
To Find out what your SMTP (Outgoing) Hostname should be check with the setting for an e-mail address you already have set up. For example, in Outlook Click "Tools" at the top of the window, then click "Accounts".
Highlight an E-mail address and then click the "Properties" box on the right.
Another box will appear. Click the "Servers" Tab at the top.
Make a note of what you have under "Outgoing Mail (SMTP)", this is what you will use as your SMTP (Outgoing) Hostname
